The Stalking Poems

I spoke words of magic
dreamed a world we share
about two months ago it was
you visit me there often
baby I call to you you answer little darliní
it is a place only of whispers
was it meant to be like this
just words in the darkness
the softness of your voice drowning
other sounds in this sweet
night

most often you're made of shadow
of pencil lines traced over and over
you hide in plain view
was there ever a language to paint you
naked as a new page
but just as untouchable
some speak of kaleidoscope worlds
of many-coloured skies
you blinded my inner eye
was I gazing too long at your
light

I'm becoming slowly blind
aching for a taste of you
for you are alpha and omega
you are my earth my oxygen
baby I see only by the light of your flame
I drink from you my thirst unquenched
can't you see I long to master you
pretend you need me as a sailor needs the sea
I'm asking for your submission
not for your love

invitation

just light another cigarette
you have nowhere else to be
there was magic when we met
now you've seen the world I see

you have nowhere else to be
so sit here by my side
now you've seen the world I see
the night is open wide

so sit here by my side
close your tired eyes
the night is open wide
can you hear the moonlit sighs

close your tired eyes
I'll lead you anywhere
can you hear the moonlit sighs
between us in the air

I'll lead you anywhere
there was magic when we met
between us in the air
just light another cigarette

Make It Real

people stop and stare
what do they know about this love

I ache for the touch of your lips
kisses I could almost taste
I see you lying down with me
from now until forever
like a slave

you don't want me
you will change your mind
I sealed your fate
it's me who'll have you
I will hold you in me
nothing stands between us here

I see you every day
in the night
I dream your face
I can't see anyone but you
don't be afraid of the dark
the night has no end

you will be mine
I won't be denied
I know this love is real
